I remember playing with a “scratch” golfer about 10 years ago (this was before I had graphite irons, a name brand driver…heck my balls were “2nd chance” replays).  The scratch golfer had all the best golf equipment.  His driver and irons were the top of the line…balls, Titleist.  He played well…I was impressed.  However, I was happy with my game that day…I shot an average round with my “junky” clubs.   I thought to myself…I’m not impressed with his “equipment”…I think he is just very talented!
